Server Speed Test

As of a Nov. 9, 2007 Hardfocus held the number-one rank in the world, according to HostingSpeeds.com. Hosting Speeds is a website that enabled visitors to test and compare the speed of about 2500 web-hosting service providers. Our download speed (for a 100 kilobyte file) is in the range of 0.95 to 1.3 seconds.

Back in July, 2006, our CEO wrote this article about hostingspeeds.com. At the time, our rank was just in the top 100 web hosting providers, but we since managed to rise and stay in the top 5 hosts, (sometimes number one in the world but usually hovering in the number 2 or 3 position).

Alas, Hositng Speeds has has been having trouble on and off since late June 2007 so it remains to be seen how long they will be dong testing. As an alternative speed checker out Host Tracker which measures server response time (but not download speed).
