Domain Name System (DNS) Services

Thanks to the Domain Name System (DNS) every Internet Domain Name is mapped to an IP address, making an essencial Internet service. If you have a Hosting Account with Hardfocus, you are already making use of our Name Servers. For our Domain Name Registration clients, we offer the following services:
  • Domain Parking

    When you are not ready to start hosting a website, your Domain Name still needs to have a valid IP address to handle requests to your domain. Parking simply means that your Name Server entries point to our web server, where visitors with be presented with an announcment web page. This is a free service if your domain name is currently registered by us. Note: All Email directed to your Domain will be bounced (i.e., returned to sender) unless you subscribe to Email Forwarding (below).

  • URL Forwarding

    This allows you to direct web traffic from your Domain Name to any website on the Internet. URL Forwarding can directed for the whole domain or redirected according to specific sub-domains. There is a low monthly charge for this service plus a nominal charge for setting up or making changes.

  • Email Forwarding

    Email addressed to your domain name can be forwarded to any other mail server or email address on the Internet. Forwarding can be for the whole domain or for selected addresses within that domain. There is a low monthly charge for this service plus a nominal charge for setting up or making changes.

  • Fully Managed DNS

    This service combines URL Forwarding and Email Forwarding into a complete, per-domain package. Managed DNS is a complete solution to your forwarding and redirect needs with a low, fixed monthly maintenance fee. Under this plan, there are no extra charges for setup or changes to your mail and web forwarders.
