Can I have more than one domain with my hosting account?
Yes!
Whether you are a reseller/web designer, corporation or entrepreneur with more than one domain under your control, we give you total flexibility to set up domains and control access.
There are no extra charges associated with any of these features. They are all included with your hosting account. CPanel allows you to do any of the following:
Domain Parking
You can "park" one domain directly top of any of your existing domains. Visitors that came to my-main-domain.com would see the same website as at my-parked-domain.com. You also can set up one domain to redirect to another (see below).
Redirects
Many companies register variations to their "official" domain. This is often simply to protect their trademark from dilution or even to catch the possible spelling errors. For example, a compnay called XYZ Widgets might have the following domains:
- xyzwidgets.com
- xyzwidgits.com
- xyz-widgets.com
- xyzwidgets.net
- xyzwidgets.biz
- xyzwidgets.info
They could redirect any over these domains to any other domain. They could even force visitors who type www.xyzwidgets.com to be redirected to xyzwidgets.com (without the 'www') or vice versa. This is far more flexible than Domain Parking and advantageous for search-engine ranking/optomisation.
Add-on Domains
Add-on domains enable you to host several websites under a single account. There is virtually no limit to the number of domains you can add on to your hosting account. You can set up each domain with it's own directory structure, ftp access and mail accounts.
Want to host the websites you create for your clients? This is the most cost effective way to do it.
Sub-Domains
In addition to www.yourdomain.com, you could have billing.yourdomain.com, support.yourdomain.com, etc.
What else?
