Digital Media

The term digital refers not to a medium so much as to a particular internal representation of information. The computer, however, is the definitive digital medium.

"Digital media" is a relatively new term. Utilizing the computer, digital media has become synonymous with the Internet. The Internet is a powerful medium unto itself and we utilize every available means to harness that power. But regardless of the medium, all workflow is now digital, whether print, audio, video or Internet based.
